What to wear to dance class?
I’m starting ballet and modern/lyrical dance soon (I’m 22 in an adult beginners class) and I’m wondering what the best things to wear would be? They aren’t strict about clothing, so we don’t have to war leotards or anything like that. Clothing just needs to be fitted and not too loose and baggy. Do you think it would be better to wear a fitted t-shirt and sweat pants/yoga pants or would maybe some leggings with shorts over them be better?
I personally prefer to wear black or ballet pink tights or leggings with shorts over them (usually black) and then with a tank top thats tight fitting on top. Yoga pants can be nice, but unless you roll them up or they are capri yoga pants then they often drag on the floor and get in the way, and then the teacher usually cant see your turnout and all of your muscles working.
