What are our Kids learning in School These Days?
Well i don’t know about you but i was very shocked this morning while Making Breakfast for my Children this morning! The Discussion they had was far from there Mind Frame, At least from mine at that age . You See i have a three kids, now picture this, Two girls , which are 14 and 10 and a very tough 8 year old Boy sitting at the table this morning while eating breakfast talking about who they would vote in the up coming Elections and the different changes that each candidates are trying to convince America to choose From so they could get the best vote to win the 2008 election!! hmm, sounds like a discussion that you would have at Starbucks with your morning breakfast club ,right? Well i kid you not, i was very shocked to hear my 10 year old talk freely about Obama and what she thought how he could change the U.S. for the Better! Now keep in mind, this girl is about cheerleader and cloths and nothing else , so when i heard her talk about politics i just Freak out and almost drop the plates that i was putting up In the sink but i just kept my ears on them not wanting to end the Debate that they were having! I must say that this is a very important time in history for all of us in the U.S. cause OUR KIDS ARE taking action in this opportunity that we are about to approach On November 8 . From this point on i am gonna take full part in this years election today because, when i have my kids talking about it more than i do then i guess that’s a wake up call, for me and all my Friends and Family .
One other thing that got my attention was that, my 8year old was telling us the Middle name of both main Candidates and there home towns and let me tell you something folks, i didn’t know that information and i was very impressed to hear that coming from him ! Well i guess today i will start a new project and instead of send my contacts BUSINESS materials today , THEY ARE all gonna receive something way better than Making money ideas or helping there pocket books get bigger. It is all about Country Today and this week! I am gonna blast them with a Update on Getting out there to Vote today Reminders ! Its time to make a change and if our Children our taking part of this then we have No Excuse ! Go Vote , Be heard!!!!!
So there you have it , Our children are our Future and i think it is very important to Keep out kids up to date with today’s problems so they can learn how to get a jump on life for their kids or just the Community for Generations to Come ! Like they always say , A Family that talks together ,stays together !
