How long do ballet dancers practice each day?
Who is a ballet dancer that is younger than 17. How long does she preactice each day.
i’m 16 and am a full time professional ballet dancer.
i dance monday to saturday every week. all ballet classes for 1 1/2 hours every day and then a variation on contemporary technique and composition, jazz, pas de deux, pointe, ballet composition.
Monday: 7:30am-12:35pm and then 4-5:30
Tuesday:1:15-7:15pm
Wednesday:7:30am-12:35pm then rehearsals 4-5:30
Thursday: 2:20-5:30pm
Friday: 7:30am-12:00pm then rehearsals 4-5:30
Saturday: 10:00-11:30am
during our four performance seasons throughout the year we do two weeks full time dancing so 8:30am-5:30pm with 45 min lunch and two 15min breaks.
inbetween all that we have academic studies.
