BALLET INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
How good is the Brown University dance department?
I’m considering Brown when i go to college in 2011. My “strengths” would be my dancing [ classical ballet. YAGP top 12 last 5 years ; last year 1st place YAGP went on to compete in the YAGP international finals; American dance competition 2nd place ... Boston Ballet summer program, Alonzo Lines Summer Intensive, Bearitz [France] Summer Dance, leading roles in Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, etc] I’m also an IB student averaging about 3.9 gpa… For now, im the Features Editor on my newspaper… and I also teach dancing [ for service] and also offer private lessons [ DEF not for service. im makin good money!] … but thats it. Just dance and IB! If brown doesnt consider dance seriously [ ive been doing it since i was 3... thats got to count for something!] then im screwed.
Im still a Junior, im probobly going to get a 750 on my SAT… is there anything i should do??
