what to wear to a ballet?

my boyfriend’s taking me to see the nutcracker this weekend. i’ve been to many ballet’s before, but i’d like to look really nice since i know he’s dressing up! i need ideas on what to wear. i’m very petite- 5′2, 110lbs.. normally size small. i’m not trying to splurge since christmas is coming up. any ideas would be great!

Dress pants and a nice sweater with heels. Put on a little makeup, pull your hair up or back, and you’ll be beautiful!
