BALLET POINTE TECHNIQUE
What is a good way to ask my ballet teacher about pointe?
i have been dancing for 2 years am 15 years old and really want to go en pointe. i am very serious about dance and have been working very hard at home to get my ankles legs and abs strong and work on my technique.
i am currently in a pre pointe class and i more than anything want to move to pointe. our teacher is moving some people up right now.
what is a good way to approach my teacher about this? (and when)???
I totally understand your desire pointe is so beautiful if done correctly!! Usually you are supposed to have three to four years of ballet before pointe but you may be a n exception since you seem very dedicate!! WHICH IS FABULOUS!! keep up the good work. I would be very polite and just ask when she thinks you may be ready to advance!! you will be great!! by the way are you using a thero band at all just a tip they really help!!
