NUTCRACKER BALLET POSTERS
Looking for a name of a certain ballet pose?
I know nothing about ballet…just what I’ve seen in movies, pictures, and a couple trips to the Nutcracker. I am doing an assignment for my design class where we’re supposed to modify an image of a dance pose. I would really like to find a certain pose that I’ve seen on posters but can’t seem to find the name of the pose or any pictures of it. I’m hoping if I describe it, maybe someone would know what I’m talking about and could help me?!?!?
The pose is the person standing straight-legged on the toes of one foot, their torso is arched back and the toe of the other foot is touching the back of the head, which forms an oval or circle type formation. I can’t remember what they’re doing with their arms though. I hope I’m explaining this well enough! Thanks in advance if you can help!
