PROFESSIONAL BALLET DANCE COSTUMES

What is your opinion of dance teams for kids?
At my daughter’s ballet studio, a child can audition for the elite dance team and participate in competitions. It also costs the parent more money to purchase professional shoes, sometimes travel, pay competition fees, and extra costumes.
What is your experience with a dance team, what age is your child, and how did it effect your family life.
Our situation, we have an infant and a four and a half year old who was invited to join the team. Off the top of my head, it would be a plus that she’ll be in a class with other girls of her ability and maturity level. (no cryers, or girls just running around) Negative: I’m afraid it will be hard witht he infant….
Wow 4 1/2? That is really young. She must be really good. Congrats for her. ![]()
I just joined competition team this year, I haven’t participated in any competitions yet, but so far it is really fun. We have two 6 year olds on my team. It is more money, but if she likes it, it is totally worth it.
I think the baby will be fine as long as you give him/her enough attention too. Good luck to you and your daughter!
