My ballet flats hurt really bad at the heel?
Because of the friction when I’m walking, my heel rubs against the heel of the ballet flat and it hurts really bad. I have these blister looking red things on my heel now. It stings when I wash my feet sometimes. But they are SO cute I can’t stop wearing them. What do I do to stop the pain? Will band-aids work?
Bandaids over a blister will only cushion them for a while. The blisters need to heal and dry up. To toughen up your feet try soaking them in powdered alum (bought from the drugstore); and follow the directions. We used that in my ballerina days to toughen up our feet to help prevent blisters. Also instead of putting bandaids on your heels, try lining the back part of your shoe with a bandaid or “moleskin” (a Dr. Scholls product”.
