NUTCRACKER BALLET KANSAS CITY

best seats at the kansas city ballet the nutcracker?
which two sections of tickets are best to purchase when taking kids to see the nutcracker at the kansas city ballet?
I’ve never been to the ballet in Kansas City. Just Houston, and Austin. The Nutcracker was the first one, and I was very close. I know I wasn’t past the fifth row, and it wasn’t a good idea, because my line of sight was at stage level, with their feet, and I had to keep turning my head from side to side to see everything. That was in the orchestra section. I like something around row P, in Orchestra, preferably center. I’ve always found that close enough to watch their feet, facial expressions, and see the details of the costumes. A little closer wouldn’t hurt, though, I’m sure. Just don’t get too close. I don’t know if you’re saying you’d do something different with kids than you’d do without them, or not. Honestly, though, I don’t think the kids would care as much about the details as someone who has a real appreciation for ballet. I wouldn’t sit too far back, though. It also depends how much you want to spend. In Houston, orchestra seats can cost as much as $110.
I just looked at the Kansas City seating chart, and I, personally, for my enjoyment, wouldn’t sit past section C. Preferably, not past B. Those tickets run from $80 & $70. Section D is $55.
